Summary/Objective

The mission of the Distribution In-Charge(DIC) is to plan and execute the Package Gases & Helium dispatches and execute the Bulk dispatches as per plan shared by Bulk logistics on a daily basis as per firmed plan for the day in a safe and timely manner. Taking care of vehicle inspection and safety at site. Discuss with the Sales team for smooth dispatch of cylinders & Dewars. Coordinate with Maintenance In-charge (MIC) for the maintenance of AL accessories installed in the Trucks and Transporters for the truck maintenance. Support Asset Controller - Bulk the execution of VITT Preventive Maintenance in-coordination with MIC and ensure the truck availability. Timely reporting on trip information and it’s documentation flow.
**Safety and Compliances**:

- Report all deviations, unsafe behaviors, unsafe situations, near misses, and accidents, incidents in the defined incident report format to AL India Safety.
- To ensure Zero Fatality & Zero accident pertaining to Distribution & Logistics.
- To provide support to CFS Manager in line with Safety Score card & required actions for Improvement.
- Review and Report all Act-In cards, Unsafe acts & conditions, incidents & accidents pertaining to Distribution & Logistics.
- To log all incident/accidents & Investigation of RCA for required incidents/accidents & closer of identified actions in time pertaining to Distribution & Logistics
- Completing RCAs with Stakeholders. Communication and closure of RCA Action Plans.
- Prepare and deliver a Monthly Safety Action Plan to the CFS manager.
- To work as a Road Safety Incharge for Pune and Savli transport operations.
- Support PRI activity to CFS Manager as well as Bulk SCM team.
- Making sure all trucks and other requestic assets (On PG and He trucks) are roadworthy in terms of Safety and Compliances.

Road Safety (PG, He & Bulk)
- Responsible for the execution of Pre-Trip Inspection Checklist Process at Pune and Savli and ensuring that the product vehicle is released only when all No-Go items in the checklist are found compliant.
- Route Surveys:

- To understand associated risks on the route.
- To identify the resting places in coordination with Road Safety Master Trainer
- Liaise with customers to support road safety elements.
- Ensures Trip Planning includes
- AL India Road safety rules
- Elements from Route Surveys.
- Feedback from stakeholders on the Road Safety elements
- Brief about the trip and feed back through the Trip sheet.
- Ensures sufficient stock of PPEs & Ratchet Belts for PG Logistics. Support Asset controller-Bulk for the Bulk logistics.
- Ensuring effective and Timely driver recruitment process for PG & He trucks. Support Support Asset controller-Bulk for the Bulk logistics.
- Implement actions from the Road Safety Action Plan for his site.

Distribution Activities:
Package Gas & Helium:

- To take lead in all PG and Helium Distribution related activities, training, meetings, Transport Supervisors meeting & presentations as & when required to make sure Safe and efficient Distribution.
- To make sure DO’s (PG and Bulk) are being utilized in the proper manner and work on their development plan as per need.
- Ensure all requisite SOP, WI is in place and being followed to have Safe and efficient Distribution operation.
- Ensure to strictly follow FFE at product level, RDO with clear justification to lift excess cylinders & approved CRF to deliver to new customers or increase the stock to existing customers.
- Coordinate with Deport In-charge for day to day operation, maintain cylinder stock and resources needed.
- Support CFS Manager on customer complaints pertaining to Distribution, Visit customer premises for safe loading & unloading of cylinders and identify the gap in comparison with approved PRI.
- Effective utilization of GTS dashboard and address the gaps to PIC & Asset Manager for the correction.
- Validation and submission of transporter bills on time and share with finance for payment processing and issue a Debit Note for the corrections in the billing. Making sure all required and proper PO is in place for the Transporter.
- Responsible for maintaining all PG Logistics documents and copy of Transporter bills at site.
- Ensure all required resources available on smooth logistics operations.
- Responsible for foreseeing the requirement of new trucks with size and model No, prepare a plan and follow-up with procurement to bring it on service.

Import activities He ISO, DMF Acetylene, D2 and other Treaded gas items
- Responsible for import related activities for Helium ISO tank, DMF Acetylene, LASAL, D2 and other treaded gases and items (Includes Peso and or License, Shipper, Clearance etc).
- Responsible for Documentation, archives and Bill booking for Imported gas items and activities.
- To make sure proper stocking and supply chain is in place for such items.

Bulk
- Communicate any deviations and “NO GO” items to Scheduler for the
