A Guest Service Associate is a hospitality professional responsible for providing front desk assistance to guests. He or she greets clients, helps them locate allocated rooms and processes check-ins and check outs. He or she ensures facilitation of services with compliance with the hotel's safety policies and regulations. A Guest Service Associate answers phone calls, takes queries and keeps track of all in-house activities concerning information about the availability of rooms and reservation. He or she ensures rooms are located to the right matches and housekeeping work is carried out in timely manner.
What is the role of Guest Service Associate?

A Guest Service Associate is a professional responsible for providing front desk assistance to guests in hotels or other similar hospitality establishments. He or she greets guests and assigns them their rooms, processes check-in and check-outs. He or she manages reservations, takes calls and correspondence to guests and relevant departments to fulfil requests of clients. A Guest Service Associate also processes payments and act as information source. Besides, being the primary point of contact a Guest Service Associate also coordinates with hotel personnel to ensure guests are satisfied with services provided to them.
Manages Communication
A Guest Service Associate job responsibilities include managing PBX telephone systems that involves answering calls on major city attractions, services, dining, policies and directions.
Facilitates Services
A Guest Service Associate facilitates services to guests. He or she greets them, helps them in allocating their assigned rooms, and provides required products to them. A Guest Service Associate also completes transactions by entering data into the POS system.
Processing Payments
A Guest Service Associate is responsible for processing customer payments. He or she utilises IBM POS technology for processing customer payments.
Book Reservations
A Guest Service Associate is responsible for booking individual and group reservations. He or she uses corporate base POS systems to complete transactions. A Guest Service Associate provides customer-oriented service, hosts special events and rental facilities.

**Salary**: From ₹11,000.00 per month
