We are hiring Retail Modern Trade Sales Executive will manage and grow the company's business with modern trade accounts. This involves driving sales performance, developing strong relationships with key retail customers, and ensuring that products are well-positioned and available in these retail outlets. The position requires a deep understanding of modern trade operations and consumer preferences, with the goal of achieving revenue targets and ensuring the company’s products dominate in the retail landscape.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Target Achievement**:

- Meet or exceed sales targets for modern trade channels, ensuring volume growth and revenue generation in each outlet.
- Analyze sales trends and work to enhance the brand’s presence and share of shelf in modern trade outlets.
- **Key Account Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with modern trade customers (e.g., large retailers, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores).
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and promotional activities with modern trade customers.
- Ensure the company’s products are stocked and displayed according to company standards in the retail outlets.
- **Product Placement and Visibility**:

- Monitor product displays, shelf share, and placement within modern trade stores to maximize product visibility.
- Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to ensure promotional and point-of-sale materials are properly displayed.
- Ensure that all retail outlets receive adequate support for product stocking, display, and promotions.
- **Promotions and Campaigns**:

- Collaborate with the marketing and trade marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns in modern trade stores.
- Monitor the effectiveness of in-store promotions and marketing activities to boost product sales.
- Work with the customers to plan and execute joint promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment in modern trade outlets.
- Track and report on product stock levels, sales trends, and inventory turnover.
- Work closely with distributors and retailers to manage stock rotation and avoid stock-outs or overstocks.
- **Customer Relationship Building**:

- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with modern trade partners.
- Provide high levels of customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building loyalty.
- Regularly visit retail stores to build rapport with store managers and floor staff.
- **Sales Reporting & Analysis**:

- Prepare regular sales reports, providing insights on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for sales growth and improvement in the retail environment.
- Report on the effectiveness of promotional activities and retail strategies.
- **Market Intelligence**:

- Keep track of competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches in the modern trade sector.
- Identify potential opportunities for business growth and market expansion within modern trade accounts.
- Provide feedback to the management team on consumer trends, competitor activities, and retail strategies.
- **Negotiation and Pricing Strategy**:

- Negotiate promotional pricing, discounts, and terms with retail customers to drive sales while protecting brand profitability.
- Work with the pricing team to adjust strategies based on market conditions and customer demands.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:

- Coordinate with the marketing, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
- Collaborate with the sales and trade marketing team to design and implement campaigns tailored to the needs of the modern trade channel.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is generally required.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within FMCG or modern trade.
- **Key Skills**:

- Strong understanding of modern trade operations and retail dynamics.
- Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical skills for tracking sales and inventory.
- Knowledge of merchandising and promotional activities in retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with sales or CRM tools can be a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
