As a key member of our team, you will define and drive the architectural direction for high-performance, scalable systems that handle billions of financial events daily.Key Responsibilities:Define and evolve the technical architecture for real-time data processing systemsDesign and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems for high-volume financial data ingestion and processingArchitect sophisticated trading modules, including PAMM, MAMM, Copy Trading, and Introducing Broker systemsLead technical design reviews and establish architectural standards across the platformDrive technology selection and evaluation for next-generation data infrastructureCollaborate closely with engineering teams to translate technical vision into implementationDesign data models, APIs, and integration patterns for multi-asset trading platformsEstablish performance benchmarks, scalability targets, and reliability standardsMentor senior engineers on architectural principles and design patternsRequirements:12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with deep focus on system architecture, distributed systems design, and large-scale platform development5+ years specifically architecting SaaS data products at scale, with proven experience designing multi-tenant data platforms, real-time analytics systems, and customer-facing data APIs that serve thousands of concurrent usersSignificant experience architecting trading platforms, market data systems, risk management infrastructure, or other mission-critical financial applications where accuracy, latency, and regulatory compliance are paramountDeep hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale streaming architectures that handle high-volume, low-latency data processing with complex event correlation and state managementProven track record of architecting systems that scale from thousands to millions of transactions, with experience in capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost-effective cloud resource utilizationPreferred Skills:Expert-level expertise in designing event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Pulsar, and modern stream processing frameworksAdvanced expertise in designing data lakes, data meshes, real-time OLAP systems, time-series data models, and hybrid transactional/analytical processing (HTAP) architectures optimized for financial workloadsDeep proficiency in modern Java, JVM performance tuning, garbage collection optimization, and building ultra-low-latency applications that consistently achieve sub-millisecond response timesExtensive experience architecting on major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with deep knowledge of managed streaming services, serverless data processing, containerized stateful services, and cloud-native storage solutionsStrong understanding of distributed systems principles, including consensus algorithms, event sourcing, CQRS patterns, distributed caching strategies, and designing for eventual consistency in financial contextsDatabase architecture, polyglot persistence patterns, database sharding strategies, time-series database optimization, and designing for both ACID compliance and high-throughput requirementsAPI & integration design, robust API gateways, implementing complex webhook systems, managing service mesh architectures, and creating integration patterns that support thousands of concurrent connectionsEvent sourcing at scale, implementing event sourcing patterns for financial systems, including snapshot strategies, event replay mechanisms, and handling billion-event streamsSecurity & compliance architecture, zero-trust security models, data encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging frameworks, and designing systems that meet financial services regulatory requirementsAI-assisted development, leveraging modern AI architectural tools to accelerate design documentation, code generation, and architectural decision-making while maintaining security and compliance standards
