Delivery Manager – Backend / AI / Cloud Kumaran Systems Location: Siruseri, Chennai (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office (WFO) Experience: 10–15 Years Notice Period: Immediate / Short Notice Preferred Hiring for Kumaran Systems We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong technical background in backend systems, cloud platforms, and AI/ML project delivery. The ideal candidate will have started their career as a developer or technical lead and grown into delivery leadership roles. This position requires proven experience managing complex, enterprise-grade technology projects with strong stakeholder and team management skills. Job Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of backend, AI/ML, and cloud-based projects ensuring quality, timelines, and scope adherence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture groups. Plan, track, and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Ensure effective stakeholder communication, status reporting, and escalation handling. Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Provide technical oversight and guidance on backend architectures, cloud deployments, and AI integration approaches. Manage team performance, mentoring, resource allocation, and conflict resolution. Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, security, compliance, and delivery governance. Required Skills & Experience 10–15 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in delivery or project leadership roles . Strong background in backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, or similar). Experience delivering AI/ML or data-driven projects (ML models, GenAI, NLP, MLOps, data pipelines). Hands-on exposure or oversight experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). Proven success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and leadership skills. Ability to work on-site 5 days a week from Siruseri, Chennai . Preferred Certifications (Good to Have) PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / PMI-ACP Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) SAFe Agilist or equivalent Agile certifications
