Lead Backend Engineer Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Lead Backend Engineer to join our team and lead the design and scaling of systems powering our AI-driven trading automations, copy-trading groups, referral rewards, and intelligent onchain infrastructure.Job Responsibilities:Design and scale production-level backend systems.Drive projects from idea to production under high ambiguity and fast iteration cycles.Mentor and up-level engineers to achieve their full potential.Own end-to-end projects — from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.Develop distributed systems, cloud architecture, and high-performance services.Integrate AI inference and intelligence layers into production-grade products.Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need to have:7+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling production-level backend systems.Proven experience as Tech Lead (or similar leadership role) in a startup environment.Mastery of blockchain development: onchain APIs, transaction processing, and scaling decentralized systems.Deep knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, observability, containerization, etc.).Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAGs), embeddings, and prompt engineering for LLM-powered services.A true 0→1 builder's mindset, capable of creating systems and processes from scratch in a high-ambiguity environment.Benefits:We offer:Highly competitive compensation.Stock options program.Company laptop and home office equipment allowance.Health insurance.About Us:We are a cutting-edge company that is revolutionizing the way people interact with blockchain technology.
