**Procurement Officer at **Oneistox**

**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Officer would be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services required for the operation of an organisation. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify their procurement needs and ensure that purchases are made in compliance with company policies and procedures, while also seeking to obtain the best possible value for money.

**Your responsibilities would include**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, evaluate specifications and requirements, and provide guidance on procurement processes and policies
- Develop and execute procurement strategies, including conducting market research, identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating supplier capabilities and performance
- Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs) to suppliers
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery of goods and services in accordance with agreed-upon terms and quality standards
- Manage and maintain procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and ethical practices
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company objectives and initiatives

**You'd fit in if you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and supplier databases.
