The Global Procurement team is essential to our business. Your Day to Day

As a Buyer, you will be a key member of the Global Procurement team responsible for supporting our sourcing team with support on full life cycle purchasing efforts. You will manage daily activities within the purchasing process, servings as the primary interface with the business owners.You will work closely with the Category Management team as well as engage with various functional teams, such as Legal, Security and Finance.This individual is driven to learn and grow within Global Procurement.The Buyer will work at our Budapest office and remotely.
- Responsible for handling a high volume of purchases daily. Process requests daily based upon a First In, First Out priority basis. These requests are for both indirect (i.e. run the business) and direct (i.e. purchases needed for our products) and budgeted under USD$50,000 (or in local-global currency) which needs to be processed accurately and expediently.
- Represents Global Procurement by building good business relationships with business purchase requestors through understanding their purchase requirements, working with each to ensure accurate and complete data is included in Procurement’s system (ScoutRFP), and communicating Procurement’s Policy and Procedures for processing purchases.
- Daily and routine maintenance of Procurement’s system (ScoutRFP) and Contracts Management System data to ensure a high level of accuracy within each project request.
- Review purchasing requests and make decisions to forward to Sourcing leads for sourcing initiatives.
- Maintain purchasing compliance through maximizing the use of established agreements.
- Adhere to GoTo’s Contract Signature Policy, Purchasing Policy, Supplier Security Risk Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct while working with each purchase request.
- Collaborate and build business partnerships with Sourcing Lead, Procurement Operations, Category Management, Legal, Security, Finance and Purchase Requestors.

What We’re Looking For

Your background will look like:

- Associates or BA/BS degree required.
- 1-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in technology spend categories.
- Proven ability to accurately work on multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong software abilities and capabilities to quickly learn GoTo’s Procurement system (ScoutRFP)
- Experience with ERP systems preferred with proven ability to accurately manage data
- Be proactive and have a comfort level with working in an often ambiguous and changing environment, anticipating needs, and staying ahead of them
- Self-starter with a passion to learn and grow their career within Global Procurement
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient user of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
- Must speak English fluently
