**We are hiring for Sous Chef**

Experience: 2+ years

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Qualification: BHM/ Diploma in Hotel Management

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing, testing recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation which help to ensure consistent high quality, also to minimize food costs; exercising portion control over all items served and assisting in establishing menu selling prices.
- Cooking or directly supervising the cooking of items that require skilful preparation.
- Evaluating food products to ensure that quality standards are consistently attained.
- Conducting regular physical inventories & supervising orders of food supplies for operations.
- Creating and implementing of system for dispatch of food and raw materials and logistics of transport to and from outlets as and when required.
- Supervising and approving transfer / leave of staff with adjustments in staff strengths where required.
- Ensuring that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen areas as per HACCP standards.
- Establishing controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
- To work in close conjunction with the Manager
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
- Ensure that the kitchens operate in a timely way that meets our quality standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
