**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on **Production In-Charge** to manage daily operations in the foundry. The person will be responsible for ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-effective production of high-quality castings, while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage daily production activities like **melting, moulding, core making, and fettling**.
- Ensure proper use of **manpower, machines, and materials** to meet production targets.
- Monitor quality standards and resolve any process issues.
- Coordinate with **maintenance, quality, and stores** to avoid delays.
- Maintain production reports and shift-wise data.
- Implement **5S, Kaizen**, and other lean practices.
- Ensure safety measures and legal compliance in the foundry.
- Solve production issues and suggest process improvements.
- Train and guide operators to improve productivity and skills.

**Required Skills**:

- Good knowledge of **foundry processes** (Sand casting, CI, SG Iron, Steel, etc.).
- Experience with **melting units** like cupola, induction, or arc furnaces.
- Understanding of **metallurgy** and casting defects.
- Strong in **shift planning, team handling**, and reporting.
- Familiar with **ERP systems** and production documentation.
- Good communication and leadership skills.

**Qualification**:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in **Mechanical**, **Metallurgy**, or **Production Engineering**.

**Preferred Background**:

- Experience in **Grey Iron, SG Iron, or Steel foundries**.
- Worked in **automotive** or **heavy engineering** manufacturing environments.
