**Job Title**: Store In-Charge

**Job Summary**:
The Store In-Charge will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, consumables, tools, and spare parts required for production and maintenance in a mechanical manufacturing setup. The role involves inventory control, documentation, and coordination with procurement, production, and maintenance departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily store operations and ensure smooth inward and outward movement of materials
- Maintain accurate stock records (raw materials, tools, mechanical components, and electrical spares)
- Ensure systematic, safe, and accessible storage (FIFO, LIFO practices)
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase team for timely replenishment
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification
- Handle GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips in ERP or manually
- Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Coordinate with production and maintenance departments for timely issuance of materials
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, and segregation of all inventory items
- Monitor shelf life of consumables and critical spares
- Manage scrap and obsolete items as per company policies
- Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and 5S principles
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in store/inventory management in the mechanical/engineering sector
- Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing materials (e.g., fasteners, bearings, tools, lubricants, castings)
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong understanding of inventory control and documentation practices
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Awareness of safety standards in industrial store operations

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Certification in storekeeping, inventory control, or materials management
- Experience in ISO, 5S, or lean manufacturing practices
