**About Zen Electric Bikes**

Zen Electric Bikes is a premium e-bike brand focused on performance, reliability, and long-range capability. As we scale towards a $3-4 million revenue target for 2025, we are building a marketing and sales engine from the ground up.

This role is **critical** to building **marketing automation, CRM, SEO, or customer acquisition** **systems, tools, and processes from scratch** to create a scalable, data-driven revenue engine.

We are looking for an **experienced, strategic, and execution-focused Performance & Automation Expert** who will **design, implement, and optimize the entire marketing and sales automation infrastructure.**

This role is **not just about running campaigns**—it is about **engineering a full-stack marketing system** that enables lead generation, customer conversion, and retention at scale.

**Role Overview**:The **Performance & Automation Expert** will be responsible for **building and optimizing marketing automation, customer funnels, and tracking systems** to drive sales and increase ROI. This person will ensure that **Zen’s marketing operations are deeply data-driven, automated, and designed for long-term scalability.**

**Key Responsibilities1. Build and Implement a Full-Scale Marketing Automation System**
- Set up, configure, and optimize **CRM and customer journey automation** (HubSpot, Zoho, Monday, ActiveCampaign).
- Design and implement **lead scoring models, behavior-based segmentation, and retargeting flows** to optimize conversions.
- Automate **customer follow-ups, abandoned cart sequences, and upsell/cross-sell strategies.**

**2. Create and Optimize Data-Driven Sales Funnels**
- Design and refine **high-converting sales funnels** for both **direct-to-consumer (DTC) and dealer acquisition.**:

- Optimize **landing pages, checkout processes, and lead capture forms** to maximize conversions.
- Implement **A/B testing frameworks** to continuously improve conversion rates at every funnel stage.
- Develop **multi-touch attribution models** to track and optimize customer journeys.

**3. Implement and Manage Media Campaigns & SEO Strategy**
- Set up and manage **Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube campaigns** for high ROI.
- Optimize campaigns using **AI-driven retargeting, behavioral segmentation, and bid automation.**:

- Develop and execute a **comprehensive SEO strategy** for e-commerce growth (technical SEO, on-page, link building).
- Manage **A/B testing and performance optimization** for PPC landing pages.

**4. Build Advanced Data & Analytics Dashboards**
- Set up **Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, and Mixpanel** to track user behavior and marketing performance.
- Implement **heatmaps and session recording tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity)** to identify friction points in the user journey.
- Develop **real-time reporting dashboards** for CAC, LTV, ROAS, and lead-to-sale conversion tracking.

**5. Integrate Marketing Technology & Automation Tools**
- Set up and manage **marketing integrations between CRM, website, e-commerce, and advertising platforms.**:

- Automate **data collection and reporting using Zapier and API-based integrations.**:

- Ensure **seamless lead handoff** between marketing and sales teams through workflow automation.

**6. Improve Customer Retention & Lifecycle Marketing**
- Develop strategies for **reducing churn and increasing repeat purchases.**

**Key Technical Skills**

The **Performance & Automation Expert** must have a strong **technical and analytical background**, with expertise in:
**Marketing Automation & CRM**
- HubSpot, Zoho, Monday, ActiveCampaign (CRM & workflow automation).
- Lead scoring, segmentation, and multi-channel retargeting.

**Media & Retargeting**
- Google, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube.
- AI-driven audience segmentation and optimization.
- Retargeting & remarketing using Criteo, Facebook Pixel, Google Remarketing.

**SEO & Organic Growth**
- Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz for keyword research and technical SEO audits.
- Schema markup, page speed optimization, and on-page SEO.
- Link-building strategy and content marketing automation.

**Funnel & Website Optimization**
- A/B Testing (Google Optimize, VWO, Unbounce).
- Landing page builders (Instapage, Leadpages, Webflow, Shopify).
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO) and behavioral tracking.

**Data & Analytics**
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Mixpanel, Looker Studio.
- Heatmaps & session tracking (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Crazy Egg).
- SQL and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) for custom reporting.
- Postscript, Twilio, Attentive for SMS & WhatsApp marketing.
- Have **5+ years of experience in e-commerce performance marketing & automation.**:
