**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Implementation**:Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the school’s English curriculum for grades 1st to 7th.Introduce students to literature, grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing in an age-appropriate manner. Use innovative teaching methods to make learning English enjoyable, including storytelling, role-playing, discussions, and interactive exercises.
- **Classroom Management**:Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for language learning. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying learning abilities and styles, ensuring each student is able to achieve their potential.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Regularly assess student performance through tests, assignments, and verbal assessments, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement. Track students’ progress and maintain accurate records of grades and achievements. Prepare and assist students for internal exams and any other standardized tests.
- **Communication with Parents**:Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, strengths, and areas needing improvement. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' academic and social development. Provide recommendations to parents on how they can support their child’s language learning at home.
- **Professional Collaboration**:Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, school staff, and administrators to ensure a cohesive educational approach. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs to stay current with best practices in English language teaching. Contribute to curriculum planning, development of teaching resources, and school events as required.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:Encourage student participation in literary activities, such as debates, elocution competitions, reading clubs, and creative writing workshops. Organize events and activities that promote language skills, such as book fairs, poetry readings, and storytelling sessions.
- **Other Duties**:Will be discussed during interview.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) with a specialization in English is preferred.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in English language instruction, particularly for students from grades 1st to 7th in an English medium setting.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using digital learning tools and basic computer skills (MS Office) for online teaching if needed.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in children’s language development. Ability to build rapport with young learners.
