**Job Title**: Social Studies (SST) Teacher (**Female**)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum standards of Social Studies for grades 3rd to 10th. Incorporate diverse teaching methodologies that cater to various learning styles and abilities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and Environmental Studies. Prepare students for internal assessments, school examinations, and external standardized tests, ensuring high academic performance.
- **Classroom Management**: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respectful interaction. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and a productive learning atmosphere. Promote a culture of curiosity and inquisitiveness among students.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Regularly assess students' progress through assignments, quizzes, projects, and tests, providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and progress, and communicate effectively with parents during parent-teacher meetings. Identify students' learning gaps and provide remedial support where needed.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:Encourage students to participate in debates, quizzes, and other extracurricular activities related to Social Studies. Organize field trips and educational tours to historical sites, museums, and places of cultural significance to enrich the learning experience.
- **Other Duties**:Will be discussed during interview.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, History, Geography, Political Science, or related fields. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) is preferred.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in an English medium school, with a focus on Social Studies for grades 3rd to 10th.
- **Language Proficiency**: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Hindi or Marathi is an added advantage.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with digital teaching tools, online learning platforms, and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage with young learners. A collaborative and team-oriented approach is essential.
