**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Implementation**:Develop and deliver well-structured and interactive lesson plans that align with the school's Science curriculum for grades 1st to 7th. Teach fundamental scientific concepts, including topics in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science, through hands-on experiments and engaging activities. Utilize various teaching methods to make learning Science enjoyable and relevant, such as demonstrations, models, and multimedia tools.
- **Classroom Management**:Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, experimentation, and active participation. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful learning atmosphere. Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring that every child achieves success in Science.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Maintain accurate records of students' performance and progress, preparing progress reports as required. Prepare students for internal assessments and standardized tests, ensuring a solid grasp of scientific concepts and principles.
- **Laboratory and Practical Work**:Conduct simple science experiments and demonstrations to help students understand complex concepts through practical learning. Ensure safety protocols are followed during practical sessions and that students understand the importance of safety in a laboratory setting. Encourage students to explore and conduct experiments independently, fostering a hands-on approach to learning.
- **Communication with Parents**:Maintain open and transparent communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress in Science. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ academic development, strengths, and areas for improvement. Suggest ways for parents to support their child’s interest in Science outside of school.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:Organize and participate in science fairs, competitions, and field trips that complement the curriculum and encourage a deeper interest in Science. Encourage student participation in clubs and activities related to Science, such as nature clubs, robotics, and environmental awareness programs.
- **Other Duties**:Will be discussed during interview.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Education, or a related field with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) is preferred.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in Science for grades 1st to 7th in an English medium setting.
- **Language Proficiency**: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Hindi or Marathi is an added advantage.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and basic computer skills (MS Office). Familiarity with virtual labs and online resources is desirable.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to make Science fun and accessible for young learners.
