**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Implementation**:Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the school's Maths curriculum for grades 1st to 7th. Introduce students to basic mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, geometry, algebra, and data handling, in an age-appropriate and engaging manner. Use various teaching methods, such as hands-on activities, real-life examples, games, and interactive tools, to make learning mathematics enjoyable.
- **Classroom Management**:Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and problem-solving. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with varying levels of ability and learning styles.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Regularly assess student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and prepare progress reports as required. Identify students' learning gaps and provide additional support to help them achieve their full potential.
- **Mathematical Enrichment**:Encourage students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills through challenging problems and puzzles. Foster a growth mindset in students, helping them to see mistakes as learning opportunities. Prepare students for internal exams, assessments, and any external math-related competitions or standardized tests.
- **Communication with Parents**:Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and achievements. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' academic development and address any concerns or queries. Suggest resources and activities for parents to support their child's mathematics learning at home.
- **Professional Collaboration**:Work collaboratively with other teachers, school staff, and administrators to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies in mathematics. Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of teaching resources for the Maths program.
- **Other Duties**:Will be discussed during interview.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) with a specialization in Mathematics is preferred.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics for grades 1st to 7th in an English medium setting.
- **Language Proficiency**: Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, math software, and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for making math accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
