Role Overview:
As a Social Media Editor, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across all social media platforms. You will play a key role in shaping our brand voice, growing our community, and driving audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media content strategies in line with brand goals

Write, edit, and proofread engaging posts, captions, and short-form copy

Create and edit reels, stories, and video content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube

Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to maintain a cohesive brand voice and message

Monitor trends, hashtags, and social conversations to keep content fresh and relevant

Manage content calendars and schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite

Analyze performance metrics and provide monthly reports with actionable insights

Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build an active online community

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

1-2 years of experience in social media content creation/editing (freshers with strong portfolios may be considered)

Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, etc.)

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices

Excellent grammar, writing, and editing skills

Creative thinker with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
