We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting both the Engineering and Sales departments in quickly preparing accurate budget quotes for various projects. The primary responsibility of this role is the ability to accurately read and understand construction drawings / 3D models to provide precise area, material and cost estimates. You will collaborate with engineering and the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met with cost-effective solutions. Your expertise will be key in delivering timely, competitive quotes that align with customer expectations and project specifications.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Accurately read and interpret construction drawings / 3D models, technical specifications and create preliminary formwork designs to prepare precise cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to quickly prepare budget quotes for various projects based on customer specifications and requirements.
- Analyse project drawings / 3D models to calculate material quantities.
- Provide fast, accurate estimates for formwork systems, materials and resources required for projects.
- Assist in identifying the most cost-effective and practical formwork solutions for clients.
- Offer technical guidance and recommendations to the sales team on cost-saving opportunities.
- Review and evaluate customer needs to tailor quotes that match the scope of work and project goals.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for quotes promptly, ensuring timely submission.
- Ensure that all technical aspects of preliminary formwork designs are accurately reflected in the budget quotes.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the formwork or construction industry, with a focus on Quantity Surveying.
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems, materials and construction practices.
- Essential: Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings / 3D models, technical specifications and formwork design documents.
- Ability to quickly generate cost estimates and budget quotes based on project requirements.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Revit (preferred), as well as AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of estimating and quoting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
