Fitout Executive

**Job Overview**:
The Fitout Executive with a civil background is responsible for overseeing the execution of interior fit-out projects from concept to completion. They ensure that the design and construction elements are implemented according to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. They work closely with contractors, suppliers, designers, and project managers to ensure a smooth project execution and successful delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:

- Oversee day-to-day activities on-site for fit-out projects, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and consultants to interpret project requirements and ensure all necessary materials and labor are in place.
- Manage project timelines and progress tracking to ensure on-time delivery of fit-out projects.
- Address and resolve any site issues, delays, or conflicts, ensuring project milestones are met.
- **Civil Engineering Integration**:

- Provide technical support on the integration of civil engineering components, ensuring proper structural considerations are incorporated into the interior fit-out design and execution.
- Oversee structural modifications and installations (if required) to meet the project’s fit-out specifications.
- Ensure that all works comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- **Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination**:

- Select, manage, and supervise subcontractors involved in the fit-out project.
- Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring high-quality supplies are sourced at competitive prices.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- **Site Supervision & Quality Control**:

- Regularly inspect the site to ensure work is being completed according to the design specifications and construction drawings.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure the quality of work is consistent throughout the project.
- Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
- **Budget and Cost Management**:

- Assist in preparing the project budget, monitor costs, and manage any variations.
- Keep track of project expenses and ensure the project remains within budget.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure financial management and reporting are up to date.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all fit-out activities comply with health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Promote a safety-first culture on-site, conducting regular safety checks, risk assessments, and safety training for the team.
- Maintain necessary safety documentation and conduct regular site safety meetings.
- **Client and Stakeholder Liaison**:

- Communicate with clients to ensure that their requirements and expectations are being met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and clients.
- Address any client concerns or changes in scope, ensuring that these are reflected in the project plan.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**:
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fit-out, interior construction, or civil engineering roles.
- Experience in managing fit-out projects in sectors such as commercial, residential, or hospitality is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and health and safety regulations.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Leadership abilities to manage teams and subordinates effectively.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
