Quality Incharge" in the garment industry is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control during the production process, ensuring that finished garments meet established company standards and customer specifications by inspecting materials, monitoring production lines, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high quality throughout the manufacturing cycle; they often play a key role in training staff on quality procedures and collaborating with other departments to address quality issues. Key Responsibilities: Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process garments, and finished products to identify defects like stitching errors, misalignment, color variations, and size inconsistencies. Utilize measuring tools and quality control checklists to ensure compliance with established standards. Monitor production lines to identify potential quality issues proactively. Defect Management: Document and report identified defects to relevant production personnel. Analyze defect trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Initiate rework or rejection procedures for non-compliant garments. Quality Assurance Procedures: Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and standards. Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement. Implement sampling plans for quality checks throughout the production process. Training and Development: Train production staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and defect identification. Provide ongoing training to maintain quality awareness and competency. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with production managers to address quality issues and implement improvements. Communicate quality concerns to relevant stakeholders, including design teams and customer service. Prepare and present quality reports to management highlighting key performance indicators. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and quality standards Excellent visual acuity for identifying defects Proficiency in using measuring tools and quality control equipment Ability to analyze data and identify trends to address quality issues Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with production teams Leadership skills to guide and train production staff on quality procedures Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
