**Job Title**: Quality Incharge - Shoe Production Unit
**Location**: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

**Reports To**: Production Manager / Plant Head

**Job Purpose**:
The Quality Incharge will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality shoes by implementing and maintaining quality control procedures. The role involves supervising the quality assurance process, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with both customer specifications and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control Implementation**:

- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures in line with company standards.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards at each stage of production (material procurement, production, finishing, packaging).
- Perform regular quality audits to identify any potential issues and ensure the correct procedures are being followed.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished shoes.
- Test products for quality and functionality, including size, stitching, and overall finish.
- Report defects and non-conformance issues to the production team and work on corrective actions.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead and supervise a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
- Provide training to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure the team maintains a high level of discipline and focuses on achieving quality objectives.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all quality documentation is accurate and updated, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (local and international).
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding quality issues and improvement plans.
- **Defect and Process Improvement**:

- Identify recurring quality issues and collaborate with production, design, and supply chain teams to implement corrective actions.
- Continuously analyze production processes and suggest improvements for enhancing product quality and reducing wastage.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:

- Collaborate with the customer service team to address quality-related complaints or issues raised by customers.
- Ensure that all products meet the customer specifications and expectations before shipment.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A certification in Quality Control (such as Six Sigma, ISO, or similar) is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within a footwear or garment production environment.
- Proven experience in managing a quality control team and conducting audits in a production environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficient in the use of quality control tools and techniques (e.g., inspection techniques, root cause analysis).
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into quality standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with production equipment, shoe manufacturing processes, and material specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position, based in the production facility in Lucknow.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
