Production Incharge" in the garment industry is responsible for overseeing the entire production process on the factory floor, ensuring garments are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and deadlines, by managing a team of operators, monitoring machinery, and coordinating with other departments to maintain efficient workflow and timely delivery of finished products. Key responsibilities of a Production Incharge in a garment factory: Production Planning and Scheduling: Analyze production orders and create detailed production plans with target timelines. Allocate tasks to operators based on their skills and production requirements. Monitor production progress against the schedule and make adjustments as needed. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures throughout the production process. Conduct regular quality checks on in-process garments to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with the quality control department to address quality issues. Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of sewing operators, quality checkers, and other production personnel. Provide training and development opportunities to improve operator skills. Address performance issues and provide feedback to team members. Machine Operations and Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning of sewing machines and other production equipment. Identify and report any machinery malfunctions and coordinate repairs. Monitor machine efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Material Management: Monitor raw material inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment. Minimize waste by optimizing fabric cutting and production processes. Reporting and Analysis: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports including output, efficiency, and quality metrics. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations on the production floor and address any safety concerns. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Understanding of garment manufacturing processes, sewing techniques, and different types of apparel. Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Problem-Solving: Capability to identify and resolve production issues promptly. Quality Focus: Commitment to maintaining high quality standards. Communication Skills: Effective communication with operators, supervisors, and other departments. Experience: Prior experience in a garment manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
