Production Incharge" in the garment industry is responsible for overseeing the entire production process on the factory floor, ensuring garments are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and cost targets, by managing a team of workers, monitoring machinery, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth operations and timely delivery of finished products. Key responsibilities of a Garment Production Incharge: Production Planning and Scheduling: Analyze production orders and create detailed production plans to meet delivery deadlines. Allocate tasks to production lines and individual operators based on workload and skillset. Monitor production progress against the schedule and make adjustments as needed. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure garments meet established specifications. Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process. Identify and address quality issues promptly. Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of sewing operators, quality inspectors, and other production personnel. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to improve skills. Address performance issues and maintain discipline on the production floor. Machine Maintenance and Efficiency: Monitor the condition of sewing machines and other production equipment. Coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. Identify opportunities to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Material Management: Ensure timely availability of raw materials and trims required for production. Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste. Cost Control: Track production costs and identify areas for cost reduction. Monitor labor utilization and optimize production line balancing. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with the design team to ensure production aligns with product specifications. Coordinate with the quality department to address any quality concerns. Communicate production status and potential issues to management. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role. Understanding of garment construction techniques and production processes. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to read and interpret technical specifications Knowledge of quality control procedures Proficiency in basic computer skills for data analysis and reporting

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
