
Training and Placement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and professional organizations to facilitate internship and placement opportunities for students.
2. Collaborate with faculty and department heads to identify skill gaps and develop training programs to enhance students' employability.
3. Organize and conduct career development workshops, seminars, and networking events to prepare students for the job market.
4. Provide career counselling and guidance to students, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
5. Coordinate campus recruitment drives and placement activities, including scheduling interviews, liaising with recruiters, and facilitating the recruitment process.
6. Maintain accurate records of student placement data, including placement rates, employer feedback, and alumni success stories.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, job market demands, and emerging career opportunities to tailor training and placement initiatives accordingly.
8. Collaborate with alumni relations and industry advisory boards to leverage alumni networks and industry insights for student placement.
9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and placement programs through feedback mechanisms and student outcomes analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in recruitment, career counselling, or talent management roles.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and networks with diverse stakeholders.
4. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
5. Knowledge of industry trends, job market dynamics, and best practices in career development and placement services.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
