The kitchen staff also ensures that the kitchen is organized, sanitized, and operating in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Assist in preparing ingredients for dishes according to the menu.
- Follow standard recipes to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Pre-measure ingredients and ensure proper food storage (e.g., proper labeling, storage temperatures).
- **Cooking and Assembly**:

- Cook food items according to the specifications (grilling, frying, baking, etc.).
- Assemble and garnish food orders as per customer requests and menu specifications.
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and texture.
- **Order Fulfillment**:

- Ensure timely preparation of food items to meet service speed targets.
- Work efficiently to fulfill customer orders during peak hours.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that food quality meets the company’s standards (taste, appearance, portion size).
- Monitor food inventory levels and notify management when ingredients or supplies are running low.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area (e.g., cleaning counters, cooking equipment, utensils).
- Properly handle, store, and dispose of food waste to minimize contamination.
- **Kitchen Equipment Maintenance**:

- Operate kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine checks and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Report any faulty or malfunctioning equipment to management for repair.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and delivery of supplies as needed.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining good communication with team members.
- **Cleaning and Organization**:

- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including floors, walls, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required.
- Ensure the kitchen meets company cleanliness standards at all times.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a QSR setting, is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy items, such as bags of ingredients or kitchen equipment.
- Manual dexterity for handling kitchen tools and equipment.

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Shift work, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- May be exposed to hot surfaces, sharp knives, and kitchen hazards.
