Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Prepare meats, poultry, and seafood by cutting, trimming, and marinating.
- **Cooking Assistance**:

- Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor food cooking to ensure it meets quality standards.
- **Cleanliness and Hygiene**:

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area, including counters, sinks, and equipment.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety.
- **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Receive and store food supplies, ingredients, and other kitchen items.
- Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored to prevent spoilage.
- Assist with inventory checks and notify the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
- **Waste Management**:

- Dispose of garbage and recycling according to restaurant policies.
- Minimize food waste by following proper food handling and storage procedures.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
- **Miscellaneous Duties**:

- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
- **Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹28,057.37 per month
