**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced **Procurement Manager** to lead sourcing and supply chain operations for spices, primarily **turmeric, ginger, and chilli**. The role involves direct engagement with farmers, contract farming management, and ensuring a sustainable, high-quality supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Farmer Engagement & Sourcing**:

- Develop and manage direct sourcing networks with farmers.
- Strengthen relationships with FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations) and cooperatives.
- Ensure consistent procurement of **high-curcumin turmeric, premium ginger, and quality chilli**.

**Contract Farming & Supply Chain Management**:

- Implement and oversee contract farming agreements.
- Work closely with farmers to ensure adherence to **Integrated Pest Management (IPM)** practices.
- Monitor crop health, yield forecasts, and quality standards.

**Quality & Compliance**:

- Ensure procurement aligns with food safety and export quality norms.
- Conduct regular farm visits and audits to maintain supply chain integrity.

**Market & Price Negotiation**:

- Track market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate procurement pricing to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring farmer profitability.

**Logistics & Coordination**:

- Work with logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation and storage.
- Optimize procurement planning to prevent supply bottlenecks.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **3+ years of experience in spice procurement** (turmeric, ginger, chilli preferred).
- Strong knowledge of **contract farming, IPM practices, and spice quality parameters**.
- Ability to build and manage farmer relationships effectively.

Pay: ₹30,344.08 - ₹57,005.28 per month
