**Job Description: South Indian Chef / Tiffin Master**
**Location**: Vizag
**Experience**: Minimum 2+ Years in the relevant field

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation**:
- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including a variety of dosas, idlis, vadas, pongal, upma, and various chutneys and sambars.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to enhance customer satisfaction.
- **Kitchen Management**:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the company's quality standards.
- Conduct regular checks on food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- **Team Coordination**:
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, including assistants and helpers.
- Assign tasks to kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Customer Interaction**:
- Take feedback from customers to improve the quality of food and service.
- Coordinate with the service staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- **Menu Planning**:
- Assist in planning and updating the menu to include seasonal and popular dishes.
- Suggest special menus for festivals, events, and promotions.
- **Cost Control**:
- Manage food costs by minimizing waste and utilizing ingredients efficiently.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management to maximize profitability.
**Skills Required**:
- Expertise in South Indian cuisine, including breakfast and tiffin items.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and improving existing dishes.
