We’re looking to expand our user experience (UX) research team at Pulse Labs. On this team, you would have the opportunity to be a part of exciting innovations and solving customer problems. The scope of this role is both strategic and executional, and you will get the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers, designers, engineers, and the marketing team. You'll also have the opportunity to work on projects outside your core functions and learn new things This job is customer-focused and consists mostly of user experience research projects for our customers, with potentially some internal user experience research work as well.

**Note: For the first month, you will be expected to work a schedule that primarily overlaps with US Mountain Time (9 p.m. to 5 a.m. IST) for training purposes. After training is complete, you would be able to work during IST daytime hours, with a couple hours a day overlapping with US Mountain time (9 p.m. to 10 or 11 p.m. IST).**

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with other members of the UX research team to help plan for upcoming studies and set up studies on our platform, along with overall project management.
- Analyze research study responses from participant videos and transcripts, surveys, and other study data to develop key research findings and recommendations for enterprise customers.
- Manage the participant experience as part of recruitment, during the studies, to keep them engaged as part of our panel.
- Provide feedback to the design and engineering teams about how to improve our research platform.

Basic Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience working in in a qualitative research role, or related areas.
- Degree in human computer interaction, human factors, psychology, anthropology, or related field.
- Expertise with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Knowledge of end-to-end research lifecycle, including broad UX research approaches and methodologies.
- A strong sense of ownership, transparency, detail-orientedness, and ability to self-initiate.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a frequently changing, often ambiguous environment.
- History of working with software engineering/technical teams.
- Experience working in the automotive sector or with smart devices.
- Basic experience with SQL, MongoDB, JSON, and/or other database structures.
