About the Traineeship Program
Wabric is inviting applications for a Literature Research Trainee to focus on health, safety, and ergonomic aspects of products in fashion, footwear, accessories, and lifestyle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep reading, analyzing safety guidelines, and synthesizing research into practical product insights. This is an unpaid traineeship program (6-8 Weeks) where you will gain hands-on experience.
**Only students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Design, Ergonomics, Fashion Technology, Engineering or Health Sciences. and or relevant fields may apply. Selection will be based on interview performance. Candidates must be available for full-time (Remote) traineeship.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews on product health & safety standards in fashion, textiles, footwear, cosmetics, and lifestyle.
- Study ergonomic and safety parameters (comfort, durability, skin safety, chemical safety, body posture).
- Compile scientific, regulatory, and industrial guidelines related to product safety.
- Translate academic and industrial studies into easy-to-understand briefs for design teams.
- Support the development of safe, user-friendly, and sustainable products.
Requirements:
- Strong reading, writing, and analysis skills.
- Interest in user well-being, product comfort, and safety compliance.
- Familiarity with research databases, scientific papers, and ISO/ASTM standards (preferred).
