**Job Title**: Chef Tandoor / Indian Cook

**Location**: Lakhajee Restaurant, Karolbagh, New Delhi

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare & Cook Tandoori Dishes**: Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items such as naan, kebabs, tandoori chicken, paneer tikka, and other traditional dishes.
- **Ingredient Preparation**: Ensure that all ingredients for tandoor dishes are fresh, properly marinated, and prepped according to recipes and standards.
- **Recipe Development**: Work with the head chef to develop and improve menu items while maintaining consistent quality and taste.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee the tandoor section of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient operation.
- **Maintain Standards**: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and served promptly.
- **Food Presentation**: Ensure that all dishes are garnished and presented attractively.
- **Inventory Management**: Help manage inventory for tandoor-related ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- **Safety & Hygiene**: Adhere to food safety standards, including cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation protocols in the kitchen.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Tandoor Chef or Indian Cook, specializing in tandoor cooking.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques, particularly with the tandoor.
- **Skills**: Ability to handle high-pressure situations, multitask, and maintain quality under tight timelines.
