Mixing and serving drinks: Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. May also recommend drinks to customers based on their preferences.

Maintaining bar supplies: Bartenders stock and prepare garnishes, maintain ice, and wash glassware and utensils. They also ensure the bar is clean and organized.

Taking orders and collecting payment: Bartenders take orders from customers and collect payment for drinks. They may operate a Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and payment processing.

Ensuring responsible alcohol service: Bartenders verify the age of customers and monitor their alcohol consumption. They may refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.

Managing bar inventory: Bartenders maintain inventory and control of bar stock and order supplies.

Providing customer service: Bartenders interact with customers, provide friendly and attentive service, and may entertain customers at the bar.

Setting up, operating, and closing the bar: Bartenders may set up, operate, maintain, and close the bar.

Training new staff: Bartenders may train and supervise other bartenders and bar staff.

Bartenders should be flexible, have a can-do attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Should also have a passion for excellent customer service.
