**Job Summary**:
The Bakery Chef is responsible for the production and presentation of all baked goods in the establishment, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. This position involves creating new recipes, managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring timely production for various services (breakfast, lunch, and events). The Bakery Chef will also oversee the supply chain of ingredients and collaborate with the larger culinary team to meet guest expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Baking & Preparation**:

- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and pies.
- Create custom desserts and cakes as per client orders or seasonal requirements.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all baked goods meet the establishment's standards.

**2. Recipe Development**:

- Experiment with and develop new recipes for baked goods, considering factors like taste, texture, and visual appeal.
- Modify existing recipes based on dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, sugar-free, or vegan options).
- Test new products and offer suggestions for improving existing menu items.

**3. Kitchen Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery section, ensuring smooth workflow and production efficiency.
- Ensure all baking and pastry stations are well-prepped and stocked with the necessary ingredients and tools.
- Ensure that all bakery equipment, ovens, and tools are functioning properly and maintained in good condition.

**4. Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient production of baked goods and desserts.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure synchronization between food and baked goods preparation for events and daily operations.

**5. Quality Control & Consistency**:

- Maintain high-quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance in all baked items.
- Regularly inspect baked goods to ensure consistency in quality and adherence to recipes.
- Conduct taste tests and adjust recipes as needed to maintain top quality.

**6. Hygiene & Safety Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and enforce hygiene practices among staff.
- Ensure that food handling, storage, and disposal comply with food safety standards.

**7. Inventory & Ingredient Management**:

- Manage the inventory of bakery ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely orders and mínimal waste.
- Monitor ingredient usage and stock rotation to ensure freshness and avoid shortages.
- Work with vendors to source high-quality ingredients and negotiate costs effectively.

**8. Event & Custom Orders**:

- Coordinate with the restaurant or banquet team to provide baked goods for events such as weddings, conferences, or special dinners.
- Create custom orders based on client specifications, including specialty cakes or pastries for events and holidays.
- Adapt recipes and quantities according to the number of guests and the scale of events.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Culinary degree or diploma in pastry arts, bakery arts, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional baking or pastry experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
