**Job Title**: Packing & Dispatch Officer
**Location**: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

**Reports To**: Production Manager / Logistics Manager

**Job Purpose**:
The Packing & Dispatch Officer will oversee the efficient and timely packing of shoes for shipment, ensuring that products are carefully packed to meet customer standards and dispatched in accordance with schedules. This role is critical in maintaining product quality during transportation and managing logistics for smooth deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Packing Process**:

- Supervise and manage the packing process for finished products, ensuring that shoes are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and packing according to customer specifications, order requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain packing materials inventory and ensure that the packing area is organized and free of clutter.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished products before packing to ensure they meet quality standards (e.g., size, finish, color, stitching).
- Ensure that all products are packed in accordance with company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Handle defective or damaged goods appropriately, following standard operating procedures for returns or rework.
- **Dispatch Management**:

- Prepare and verify dispatch orders, ensuring timely shipment of packed products according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the logistics or shipping team to ensure timely dispatch of products to customers.
- Maintain proper documentation for shipments, including packing lists, invoices, and dispatch reports.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels of packing materials (cartons, shrink wrap, etc.) and reorder supplies as needed.
- Keep track of any returned products and ensure that they are processed promptly and accurately.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Lead a team of packers and ensure that they are well-trained, efficient, and adhering to packing and safety guidelines.
- Delegate tasks effectively and maintain high productivity within the packing area.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees in packing and dispatch procedures.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:

- Ensure that products are packed and dispatched with the utmost care to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Address any issues or concerns regarding packing or dispatch with the customer service team.
- **Safety and Cleanliness**:

- Adhere to safety standards in the packing and dispatch area.
- Ensure that the packing and dispatch areas are clean and properly organized at all times.
- **Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of daily dispatch and packing operations.
- Report any discrepancies in orders, packing, or dispatch to the production or logistics manager.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in packing and dispatch in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in footwear or related industries.
- Experience in managing or supervising a team of packers.
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of packing materials and packing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and order processing.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in the packing and dispatch process.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or dispatch software.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position at Ticomp Heels Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow.
- Willingness to work in shifts and extended hours as required to meet production and dispatch targets.
- Physical work may be required, including lifting boxes or products.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
