Area Sales Executive

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory for solar products and services.
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and participation in trade shows/events.
- Manage channel partners, installers, and dealers to drive regional sales targets.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical product information and pricing.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales agreements tailored to customer needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments affecting the solar industry.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales performance using CRM tools.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably in the solar, electrical, or energy sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Knowledge of solar PV products (panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) and the sales cycle.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience selling rooftop solar solutions, off-grid systems, or EPC solar services.
- Familiarity with MNRE/State policies, net-metering, and government tenders.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
