The Nasdaq IR Intelligence Product team supports a global user base of IR professionals and capital markets experts through workflow and SaaS analytics solutions to help them operate and advise effectively in their functions.

As part of that team, the successful applicant would collaborate with cross functional teams across business, technology, and product within Nasdaq to identify and resolve user challenges and develop impactful enhancements across the product suite.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Product Owner, your focus will be designing, developing and implementing features and improvements to the IR product suite including researching and integrating new data sets and leveraging generative AI technology to advance our offerings. You will be part of a global team working closely with local development colleagues in Bangalore, as well as product, design and business teams across the world.

As part of this role, you would be expected to do the following.
- Collaborate with cross functional team across the business to gain a strong understanding of the overall business strategy, objectives and goals to incorporate in the development of product strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of target user workflows, pain points and challenges.
- Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and clients and convert into user stories. Work with our user experience team to develop prototypes and wireframes.
- Manage the story backlog and prioritize the work of the scrum team to best meet release objectives.
- Work with the development team on setting iteration goals and acceptance criteria
- Participate actively in Agile team ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning and sprint reviews) to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery.
- Support the testing process including reviewing test results and guidance on issue resolution.
- Support releases by developing training materials, and by speaking directly to users to demonstrate features and enhancements.
- Develop a deep understand of the various data sets within Nasdaq and how they can add value to our existing products and services.

We expect you have:

- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in Product Development for Software using Agile Methodology.
- The ability to take initiative and research issues, find solutions and identify opportunities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; willing to communicate via any number of mediums, to both technical and business teams.
- Experience querying databases using SQL.
- Collaborate across technical/business teams and Client Success teams.
- Knowledge of data analysis in regard to aggregating and tracking data in search of trends and flags.
- Strong analytical skills, proven in ability to identify root problems when present with a set of circumstances.
- Mid-level Excel and Powerpoint skills.
- Willing to use new technologies and learn new processes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate clients and Team Members in other regions.

it would be great if you have:

- Knowledge of other product management tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Figma.
- Experience writing user stories and participating in testing solutions.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience working within financial technology or financial services.
