Product Owner

**Role Purpose**:
The primary purpose of the Product Owner is to lead the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives within the realm of technologies. This involves translating business requirements into actionable plans, overseeing the development process, and continuously evaluating product performance to drive iterative improvements. By fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, the Product Owners ensures the successful delivery of products that meet the company's objectives and industry standards

**Example Role Responsibilities**:

- As the Product Owner for Data Extraction you'll collaborate closely with Machine Learning and Engineering on cutting-edge data extraction technologies (e.g. no-OCR VLM based extractions). Your primary responsibilities include understanding the business needs in alignment with Product Management and translating them into epics and user stories to enable the team to deliver value in time and quality.
- Close collaboration with all members of the cross-functional team, especially Engineering and Machine Learning
- Establish a clear understanding of the business value within the team
- Work closely with Product Managers to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and company strategy
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand product requirements
- Partners with Data Analysts to report product capabilities/performance and decisions are made based on data
- Oversees product progress at each iteration
- Keep up to date with agile best practices and new trends
- Effectively communicating directly with stakeholders all over the globe

**Relevant Experience and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3+ years professional experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI patterns (e.g. VLM, LLMs)
- Experience in working with ML/AI heavy teams
- Technical skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes
- Data-driven attitude
- Knowledge of agile processes and principles. Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or a similar framework is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an international context
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and communication skills
- Excellent skills in spoken and written English
