Product Owner

**Job Summary**

The Product Owner is responsible for owning, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog for the scrum team, with a specific focus on AWS migration, support for GWH Primesuite and Intergy, automation, and Terraform integration. They share the product vision and work closely with the Product Manager, Development Lead, and Scrum Master to ensure the team delivers value to the business. The Product Owner defines solutions for required product features, elicits and documents requirements, performs impact/workflow analysis (use cases, user story mapping, etc.), and collaborates with the UX team and Product Manager on user interface design. This individual is a self-starter with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities without explicit direction. Strong presentation, analytic skills, and a passion for enhancing consumer experiences through technology are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accountable for the Product Backlog: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and user needs, with a particular focus on AWS migration, GWH Primesuite and Intergy support, automation, and Terraform.
- Support Scrum Framework: Partner with Scrum Masters and Development Managers to support the Scrum Framework and ensure effective implementation of Agile practices.
- **Decompose Features**: Share and decompose features into non-technical user stories during story refinement with the scrum team.
- Voice of the Client: Act as the recognized voice of the client and product within the team, representing capabilities and features effectively.
- Collaboration with Product Manager: Work closely with the Product Manager to represent capabilities and features at the team level, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
- Requirements Traceability: Ensure traceability between requirements and acceptance criteria in user stories, including review of test cases against acceptance criteria.
- Backlog Re-Prioritization: Periodically re-prioritize the backlog based on customer feedback, market changes, and business priorities as communicated by the Product Manager.
- Story Acceptance: Formally accept user stories once all acceptance criteria are met and demonstrated.
- Product Improvement Input: Provide inputs to product management on product gaps, improvement areas, and customer pain points, particularly in development projects involving AWS and automation.
- Participation in Meetings: Actively participate in defect review meetings and idea review meetings to support continuous improvement and innovation.

Knowledge and Skills
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Product Owner, with experience in AWS migration, GWH Primesuite, Intergy, automation, and Terraform preferred.
- Product Roadmap Execution: Demonstrated experience executing a product roadmap and working with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Analysis: Experience systematically analyzing problems, drawing relevant conclusions, and devising appropriate courses of action.
- Agile / Scrum Environment: Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum work environment as a Product Owner, including writing user stories and following the development process through user story acceptance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and business audiences.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make quick decisions when clarification or modification is needed and adjust to changing circumstances professionally.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify solutions, and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions.
- Healthcare Experience: Preferred 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
