**Job Responsibilities:1. Conventional Milling Machine Operation & Setup**
- Operate **manual/conventional milling machines** for machining metal and precision components
- Set up and align **workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools** to ensure accuracy
- Select and install **milling cutters, drills, and measuring instruments** based on job requirements

**2. Engineering Drawing Interpretation**
- **Read and understand technical drawings**, GD&T symbols, and machining tolerances
- Work with **tight tolerances (microns level accuracy) for precision components**:

- Verify dimensions using **calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators**

**3. Machining & Process Control**
- Perform operations such as **slot milling, face milling, pocket milling, and contour milling**:

- Adjust **speeds, feeds, and depth of cut** based on material type and job requirements

**4. Quality Control & Inspection**
- Perform **self-inspection of machined parts** to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
- Work closely with the **quality control team** for first-piece approval and final inspection
- Identify machining defects and make necessary adjustments to avoid rework

**5. Machine Maintenance & Safety**
- Conduct **routine maintenance** of the milling machine, including lubrication and cleaning
- Ensure **safe working practices** and adherence to factory safety standards
- Maintain a **clean and organized workspace** for efficient operations

**6. Coordination with Production & Toolroom Teams**
- Collaborate with **production, toolroom, and quality teams** to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain records of **job setups, machining parameters, and tool usage**:

- Support **continuous improvement initiatives** to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage

**Skills & Competencies Required**:
Strong knowledge of **conventional/manual milling machine operations**
Ability to **read & interpret engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge preferred)**
Proficiency in using **measuring instruments (micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.)**
Experience in **metal cutting, fixture setting, and tool selection**
Basic understanding of **CNC machining principles** (preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of **cutting fluids, lubrication, and machine maintenance**
Strong **problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machining issues**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
