**Job Responsibilities:1. H-Boring Machine Operation & Setup**
- Operate **manual/conventional Horizontal Boring machines** for machining large and heavy components
- Set up and align **workpieces, fixtures, and tooling** to ensure accuracy
- Select and install **boring bars, cutters, and measuring instruments** for each job

**2. Engineering Drawing Interpretation**
- **Read and understand technical drawings**, GD&T symbols, and machining tolerances
- Work with **tight tolerances (micron-level accuracy) for precision components**:

- Verify dimensions using **bore gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments**

**3. Machining & Process Control**
- Adjust **spindle speeds, feeds, and depth of cut** based on material type and job requirements
- Ensure **proper alignment and positioning of bores** for high-precision results

**4. Quality Control & Inspection**
- Perform **self-inspection of machined components** to ensure accuracy before final QC checks
- Work closely with the **quality control team** for first-piece inspection and approvals
- Identify machining defects and take corrective measures to minimize rework

**5. Machine Maintenance & Safety**
- Conduct **routine maintenance** of the Horizontal Boring machine, including lubrication and cleaning
- Ensure **safe working practices** and adherence to factory safety protocols
- Maintain a **clean and organized work area**

**6. Coordination with Production & Toolroom Teams**
- Collaborate with **production, toolroom, and quality teams** to meet job requirements
- Maintain records of **job setups, machining parameters, and tool usage**:

- Assist in **continuous process improvements** for better efficiency and cost reduction

**Skills & Competencies Required**:
Strong knowledge of **Horizontal Boring machine operations & precision machining**
Ability to **read & interpret complex engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge preferred)**
Proficiency in using **measuring instruments (bore gauges, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)**
Experience in **handling large workpieces and ensuring proper alignment**
Basic understanding of **CNC machining principles** (preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of **cutting tools, coolants, and machine lubrication**
Strong **problem-solving and troubleshooting skills**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
