**Job Responsibilities:1. Jig Boring Machine Operation & Setup**
- Operate **manual/conventional Jig Boring machines** for precision machining
- Set up and adjust **fixtures, workpieces, and tooling** to ensure accuracy
- Select and install **boring tools, cutters, and measuring instruments**

**2. Engineering Drawing Interpretation**
- **Read and understand technical drawings**, GD&T symbols, and machining tolerances
- Work with **tight tolerances (microns level accuracy) for precision components**:

- Verify part dimensions using **micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges**

**3. Machining & Process Control**
- Maintain **high precision and surface finish** in boring operations
- Adjust **speeds, feeds, and depth of cut** to optimize machining quality

**4. Quality Control & Inspection**
- Perform **self-inspection of machined components** to ensure accuracy
- Work closely with the **quality control team** for final part approval
- Identify machining defects and take corrective actions to avoid rework

**5. Machine Maintenance & Safety**
- Perform **routine maintenance of the Jig Boring machine** (cleaning, lubrication, etc.)
- Ensure **safe working practices** and adherence to machine shop safety protocols
- Maintain a **clean and organized workspace**

**6. Coordination with Production & Toolroom Teams**
- Collaborate with the **production and toolroom teams** to meet job requirements
- Maintain records of **job setups, tool usage, and machining parameters**:

- Support **continuous improvement initiatives** for process optimization

**Skills & Competencies Required**:
Strong knowledge of **Jig Boring machine operations & precision machining**
Ability to **read & interpret technical drawings (GD&T knowledge preferred)**
Proficiency in using **measuring instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)**
Experience in **manual machine operation & toolroom practices**
Basic understanding of **CNC machining principles** (preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of **coolants, lubrication, and cutting tools for boring operations**
Strong problem-solving skills for **troubleshooting machining issues**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
