**Job Title: CNC Milling (VMC) Operator**

**Job Summary**

A CNC Milling (VMC) Operator/Programmer operates and programs CNC vertical machining centres to produce precise parts from Raw materials, castings & forgings. This role involves setting up machines, writing or adjusting CNC programs, monitoring production, and ensuring parts meet quality standards.

Degree/Diploma/ITI Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant in CNC Machine operations & maintenance
Good communication skills to interact with clients

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate CNC milling machines to create parts based on technical drawings.
- Set up machines by installing tools and securing work pieces.
- Write or edit CNC programs using G-code or CAM software (e.g., Solidcam).
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning and checking coolant.
- Follow safety rules and report any issues to supervisors.
- Keep accurate production records.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 TO 4 years of CNC machine operation experience (preferred).
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Familiarity with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens)
