**Job Description: Chef Intern (Paid Internship)**
**Position**: Chef Intern
**Duration**: 6 Months (Full-Time)
**Working Days**: Monday to Friday (Full Day)
**Compensation**: Paid Internship
**Certification**: Provided upon successful completion of the internship
**Stipend**: ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month, based on role and skillset
**Opportunity**: Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time employment opportunity.
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- **Availability**: Must be willing to work full-time from our Bengaluru office (Monday to Friday) for a 6-month internship.
- **Commitment**: Willing to commit to a 6-month full-time internship.
- **Interview**: Only face-to-face interviews will be conducted; online interviews will not be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product Development**:
- Develop multiple vegetarian food product variants by combining base ingredients, powders, sauces, and binding agents.
- Gather customer feedback during product trials and incorporate improvements to enhance taste, texture, and nutritional value.
- Ensure products meet established taste, texture, nutritional benchmarks, and dietary requirements.
- **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**:
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the preparation of various vegetarian food products.
- Define shelf life and establish quality standards for ingredients and final products.
- Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation according to SOPs.
- **Customer Trials and R&D**:
- Conduct product trials at different locations to gather market feedback and insights.
- Measure success through customer feedback, compliance with taste and hygiene standards, and product consistency.
- Engage in Research & Development (R&D) for creating innovative vegetarian products that align with customer preferences and market trends.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure all products meet vegetarian, taste, health, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain food safety standards and hygiene protocols in all stages of preparation and testing.
- Classify products based on customer demographics, working styles, and consumption preferences (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks).
- **Documentation and Analysis**:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of preparation processes, ingredients, and methods.
- Conduct nutritional analysis of food variants and define shelf life for product variants.
- Assist in documenting market feedback, adjusting recipes, and improving product formulations.
**Requirements**:
- **Education & Certification**:
- **Must have a culinary background with certifications or relevant education.** Examples include:
- **Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) in Culinary**:
- **B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Management**:
- **B.Sc. in Catering Science and Hotel Management**:
- **BA in Culinary Arts**:
- **Diploma in Culinary Arts (1-2 years, hands-on training)**:
- **Certificate in Food Production and Patisserie**:
- Passion for vegetarian cuisine and culinary innovation.
- **Skills and Attributes**:
- Strong passion for culinary innovation, especially vegetarian food.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to adapt and be creative in a fast-paced, dynamic R&D environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Additional Requirements**:
- Creativity, willingness to experiment, and adaptability in the R&D process.
- Strong interest in creating food products that are nutritious, healthy, and sustainable.

Pay: ₹140,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year
