Saas Sales Representative

We’re on the hunt for a proactive and detail-oriented **Sales Development Representative (SDR)** to join our fast-growing SaaS team. This is a critical role focused on **lead qualification and prospect engagement** — ensuring only the most promising leads make it to the sales pipeline. If you're passionate about SaaS, sales conversations, and lead strategy, this could be your next great opportunity.
**Mandatory Criteria (Must-Have)**:
- **1-3 years of experience** in SaaS solutions/platforms, especially targeting technical personas.
- Prior experience in **international markets** is required.
- Proven **lead qualification experience** in SaaS, solution-based, or tailored solution selling roles.
- **Experience in the education sector will not be considered relevant** for this role.
- **Notice period should not exceed 30 days**.
- **Startup experience is preferred**, though not mandatory.
- **Expected salary hike should be within 20-30%.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assess and qualify inbound leads using predefined criteria.
- Conduct discovery calls to evaluate prospect needs, pain points, and readiness.
- Identify key decision-makers and evaluate alignment with our SaaS offering.
- Maintain clean, accurate records in CRMs like **HubSpot or Salesforce**.
- Collaborate with Account Executives for smooth lead handovers.
- Share lead feedback with sales and marketing teams to optimize strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor insights.
**Required Skills**:
- Excellent **verbal and written communication** skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like **HubSpot or Salesforce**.
- Strong **analytical skills** to assess lead quality.
- Confident in **handling objections** and guiding potential clients.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
