**Job Description: Accountant (US Accounting & Taxation)**

**Location**: Kolkata
**Salary**: ₹15,000-₹30,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain financial statements and records following US accounting standards.
- Handle US taxation, including federal and state tax returns, compliance, and reporting.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes for US clients.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger management, and other accounting tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Stay updated on US accounting and tax laws.
- Assist in financial audits and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve financial and taxation issues.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in US accounting and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
