**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Menu Preparation**: Assist in planning and developing the restaurant's menu, ensuring a diverse selection of authentic Chinese dishes.
- **Cooking**: Prepare and cook dishes following traditional Chinese methods, including stir-frying, steaming, and deep-frying, while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- **Ingredient Management**: Source and manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability. Understand the use of specific Chinese spices and herbs to enhance flavor.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs and assistants, to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Provide training and guidance when necessary.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- **Culinary Expertise**: Proven experience in Chinese cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques and flavors.
