Learning phase: Primarily focused on learning Chinese cooking methods, including stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, and proper seasoning techniques. Ingredient knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of Chinese ingredients like different vegetables, meats, herbs, and sauces. Support role: Assists senior chefs by preparing ingredients, setting up cooking stations, and plating dishes. Hygiene standards: Adheres to strict kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
