The main purpose of the Trade Service Professional’s role is to provide a tailored top-quality service to Citi’s India clients supporting the expansion of the Trade business across the Financial Institutions and Corporate portfolios **Responsibilities**: - Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis - Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis - Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors - Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the trade operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives - Maintain regular proactive calls with managed clients across the managed portfolio for India Trade Operation - Ensure the right focus is placed on reducing repeat discrepancies provided in client documentation by educating the client, providing analytics to clients to demonstrate the benefits of STP **Qualifications**: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize and organize own workload. - Excellent customer service skills - Assertive & strong teamwork/interpersonal - Multi-tasking a must requirement - Excellent decision-making skills - Critical and independent thinker - Strong focus on Controls. **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree with 7-8 years of experience in Trade Operations/ Services. OR - Postgraduate (preferably Finance) with 4 years of experience (preferably Trade Operations/ Services). This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
