- Objectives:_

NA Payments team is involved in the processing of Inward/Outward payments under Letter of Credit with an understanding of underlying Trade documentation, Fund Transfer and SWIFTS related to Latin American countries.
- Core Responsibilities:_
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities:_

1. Processing of day to day transactions as per local operating procedures.

2. Delivers as per Service Level Agreement at all times. Ensure service quality is maintained

3. Understand customer requirements.

4. Meet required productivity metrics set for the team

5. Ensure tracking, accurate and timely resolutions of issues and exception raised

6. Client inquiries are investigated and responded appropriately

7. Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures

8. Perform control related activities to mitigate risk.

Required

Preferred
- Education:_

Bachelor Degree (commerce/science stream preferred), First class or above
- Experience:_

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Trade Finance domain.
- Certifications:_
- CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)
- Skills:_

- Excellent communication skills in English - both written & oral
- Strong problem solving and/or analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read complex forms/documents with confidence, ease and understanding
- Ready to work in any shifts / time zones
- Good Team player

Technical:

- Strong knowledge of Trade Payments.
- Proficient in Ms-Office (excel, word, power point),
- Knowledge of Accounting & Reconciliation.
- Fair knowledge around International rules for handling Letters of Credit
