**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, dim sum, soups, and sauces, according to standardized recipes and quality expectations.
- Assist in the mise en place (preparation) for daily operations in the Chinese section.
- Follow proper food handling and hygiene practices at all times.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen area.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Support senior chefs in training junior staff or commis II/III as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., wok cooking, steaming, braising).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Culinary diploma or certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Working Conditions**:

- Physically demanding role; requires standing for long periods and working in hot kitchen environments.
- Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
